Using the site

Practice is free and open to everyone. By using TypeAtlas you agree not to submit falsified results, automate the typing test, scrape the site at a rate that degrades it for others, or interfere with anyone else's use of it.

Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for everything done through your account. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has access to it. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms, and results that appear automated may be removed from the leaderboard.

Content

The practice texts are short original sentences and common-word lists written for this site. The software, design and course structure belong to AjonTec. You may use the site freely to learn; you may not republish its lesson content as your own product.

Availability

The site is provided as is. We try to keep it running and correct, but we do not promise uninterrupted service, and scores are a practice aid rather than a certified assessment. Do not rely on them as proof of ability for employment or examination purposes unless the body concerned accepts them.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, AjonTec is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from use of this site.

Changes

These terms may change. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated version.
